Cody Kargus serves as the Lead Chaplain for the Rice Lake Police Department and also serves each municipality and Sheriff’s Department within Barron County.  He is also a chaplain for the WI DNR and is a certified law enforcement chaplain for the state of Wisconsin.  He is also the Senior Pastor at Maranatha church in Rice Lake and the president of the Law Enforcement Foundation of Barron County.

With his background as a former EMT and Mountain Rescue member in Washington State, he understands the pressures and demands of emergency and trauma.  Serving as a chaplain since 2017, Cody is grateful to care for officers and their families as they face many complicated, stressful and emotional situations.
